Students read and discuss the Level 4 May 2017 School Journal article, ‘The fight to vote’, and then ‘think sustainably’ as they learn and explore deeper thinking about the women’s suffrage movement in Aotearoa / New Zealand, its’ key players, their motives, barriers and the wider issues today around human rights and inclusiveness.
Potential solutions and a path forward are found through discovery, discussion and debate in the learning process itself as students work sequentially working through the student project sheet.
