‘Designed For Good’ explores the design journey taken by Craig, Stu and Robbie to create a self-setting trap that eliminates introduced pests.
Students read and discuss the Level 3 May 2017 School Journal article, ‘Designed For Good’, and then ‘think sustainably’ as they learn and explore deeper thinking about how research and design can help conservation efforts by sequentially working through the student project sheet. Potential solutions and a path forward are found through discovery, discussion and application in the learning process itself.
