‘Climate Change: Our Biggest Challenge’ covers all the main discussion points around human induced climate change from a NZ perspective i.e. what it is, its’ causes, impacts and potential solutions.
Students read and discuss the Level 4 School Journal article, ‘Climate Change: Our Biggest Challenge’, and then ‘think sustainably’ as they learn and explore deeper thinking about human induced climate change and where NZ sits in terms of our greenhouse gas emissions by sequentially working through the student project sheet. Potential solutions to climate change mitigation and a path forward are found through discovery, discussion and application in the learning process itself.
