Students read and discuss the Level 4 November 2018 School Journal article, ‘Rise Up: The Story of the Dawn Raids and the Polynesian Panthers’, and then ‘think sustainably’ as they learn and explore deeper thinking about the ‘Dawn Raids and the Polynesian Panthers’, the key players, their motives, and the wider issues today around human rights, inclusiveness and the values that can underpin political decision making.
Potential solutions and a path forward towards a more equitable society underpinned by a humanistic morality are found through discovery, discussion and application in the learning process itself as students work sequentially working through the student project sheet.
