Description
‘Water Worries’ introduces students to the idea that water can’t be taken for granted and that we as humans have an impact on each stage of the water cycle.
Students read and discuss the Level 3 School Journal article, ‘Water Worries’ and then ‘think sustainably’ as they learn and explore deeper thinking about water in the context of the water cycle: climate change and stream health decline by sequentially working through the student project sheet. Potential solutions and a path forward towards a healthy water cycle are found through discovery, discussion and application in the learning process itself.
